Letter from the Principal, Mrs. Tiffany Shepherd
Hello! I’m absolutely thrilled that you’ve joined us—get ready for an incredible journey!
My story with Fox Creek began back in 2005, in the legendary casino days! I started as a long-term sub and then began my teaching career soon after. For 13 years, I taught Government, Economics, Psychology, and Sociology and was in charge of numerous clubs and activities. Early on, I was inspired by the parents and staff around me to be involved and volunteer wherever I could. That collaborative spirit helped shape my career. In 2019, I transitioned to assistant principal and have been in that role ever since.
One of the organizations I am passionate about is the Jostens Renaissance organization, which is all about building a strong school culture through building relationships with students, parents, and staffulty. This program creates an environment where students are excited to learn, and educators feel empowered and supported. I’ve seen firsthand how it changes lives, and I’m bringing that same spark here to Fox Creek Middle.

Mrs. Tiffany Shepherd brings nearly two decades of dedication to the Fox Creek family and a deep commitment to student success. A proud graduate of Augusta University, she holds a B.A. in History Education, an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership.
Over the past 19 years, Mrs. Shepherd has served Fox Creek High School as a Social Studies teacher for 13 years and as Assistant Principal for 6 years. Throughout her career, she has helped shape student life by leading clubs and organizations such as Homecoming, Student Council, Junior Advisory, and Renaissance Crew.
Her passion for education has been recognized with numerous honors, including Teacher of the Year (2006 & 2010), the Golden Apple Award (2010), and—most memorably—four victories in the Fox Creek Chili Cook-Off.
A lifelong resident of the CSRA, Mrs. Shepherd lives in North Augusta with her husband and two children. She looks forward to leading Fox Creek Middle School and building a culture where students grow, lead, and thrive.
